Week 26

Week 26.  Last week, I scheduled my very first 3rd trimester doctor's appointment for next month.  It's hard to believe that we're that close already.  This week, we're officially in spring as well, so I'm hoping the weather will continue to stay nicer.  So, what's happening this week?

For baby
Baby is now about 14 inches long, and weighs nearly 2 pounds! This week baby's eyes finally open and they start to learn to focus and take in the world around them.  The iris still isn't pigmented, but that will come with time, although eye color can continue to change for at least the first 6 months of life.

For momma:

Overall, nothing much has changed.  I'm getting bigger and baby is wiggly but otherwise things are going well and uneventfully.
